We from Southern Projects have recently renovated and extended a driveway, carefully working to enhance both the functionality and aesthetics of the project.

First, we cleared the existing driveway by excavating all the grass and soil. Next, we installed an effective drainage system and drainage outlets to ensure optimal water flow and prevent any water accumulation. This was crucial to extend the life of the driveway and prevent issues with water overflow.

Additionally, we insulated a section of the driveway to create a strong and durable foundation for the new paving. The result is a driveway that is not only functional but will also last for many years.

Another part of the work involved replacing a section of the Santa Catarina tiles at the terrace by the front door. This was necessary because the client had experienced leaks in the basement beneath the terrace. We carefully insulated this section to protect the basement from moisture issues, allowing the client to now enjoy the terrace without worries.

The final result is a functional and aesthetically pleasing driveway and terrace, where we took into account not only the client’s wishes but also practical aspects such as water drainage and insulation.
